Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1993, pg. 7 or Healthy Exchanges Cookbook, pg. 207. This was so awesome. It was delish! I really liked how creamy it was. I had my doubts about chocolate and pumpkin together, but no more, they are a perfect combination. I highly recommend it for families too to get some more veggies in to their kids. I loved it! All 5 stars!

Calico Cucumber Salad-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1994, pg. 4. This was so yummy! I loved the sweet corn in this! This would be perfect for a picnic. Especially a fall picnic at the Apple Orchard, or Pumpkin Patch with your family. 5 stars!

Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1994, pg. 7 or Strong Bones Healthy Exchange Cookbook pg. 164. This was ok. But, I definitely liked the Zucchini Lasagna much better. 3 stars.

Peanut Buster Bread Pudding-
Rating-* * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1995, pg. 1. This was really good. I just love bread pudding, and I always have. When I first started this program I thought I wouldn't be able to have it. But, JoAnna has some great ones! And this is one of the great ones! I still love Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bread Pudding though. But, this is so low in calories and exchanges. I am giving it 4 stars.

Hamburger Jumble-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1995, pg. 5. This is very yummy! It's like one of Richard Simmons Stove Top Casseroles. Which has always been a favorite of mine. I think every one would enjoy this one! 5 stars.

Carrots Supreme-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1995, pg. 12 or Heart Smart Healthy Exchange Cookbook pg. 121. Again this was great! If you like sweet potatoes, but don't want to use your starch windows up on them, try this. This wasn't exactly like sweet potatoes, but for so low of calories it was a good substitute. I did add a little salt and parkay butter spray, and a little walden farms zero calorie pancake syrup on top just to make it over the top good. But, it was delish as is too! All 5 stars!

Praline Banana Cream Pie-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1995, pg. 12. This was delish. I loved the praline flavor. Very southern, and delicious! It was a little on the small side, but the flavor was well worth it. 5 stars.

Lone Star Corn Chili-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1997, page 1. This was very hearty chili. I really liked it. I would have never thought of replacing beans with corn in chili, but I am glad JoAnna did. It was filling and warming! I loved it. It's my go to Chili recipe all the time now. 5 stars!

Corned Beef Skillet Sandwiches-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1997, page 4. This was tasty. And Vince liked it too. He asked to have it on the next family vacation. I also liked how cheesy it was. 5 stars.

Chimichangas-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 1997, page 7. These were excellent. However, I put a half cup of meat mixture per one tortilla and only used 4 tortillas instead of 8. This brought down the starch exchanges. And they were awesome. I made them with Whole Wheat La Tortillas, that were only 50 calories per a tortilla. 5 stars!

2000
Heavenly Butterscotch Isle Apple Salad-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2000, page 12 or Cooking Healthy Across America pg. 197. Another one of Joanna's masterpieces! If you like Caramel Apples, you will love this recipe. Don't let the coconut and pineapple throw you. This is a great caramel apple substitute with only a fraction of the calories! Definitely a 5 star blue ribbon winner!

2001

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2001, page 4. I loved this. I liked the low amount of calories especially. But, also it was definitely right on the name sake, it truly was how you would vision grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup to taste. Even though neither of my grandmothers ever made Chicken Noodle Soup. haha It certainly tasted like something that would come from a grandma's kitchen. Very comforting and filling. 5 stars!

Apple Caramel-Pecan Pie-
Rating-* * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2001, page 4. This was really good. I still like Peanut Butter Apple Crumb Pie better. But, if you want a country down home, like mom's, all American apple pie, this will for sure fit the bill. I really enjoyed it with a dollop of Cool Whip Free on top as well. 4 stars.

Refreshing Italian Green Bean Salad-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2001, page 6. This was so flavorful and good! I loved it too! I used canned green beans though, as I don't like the frozen, and it was delish! I liked it so much I will be making it this summer for family vacation. I think it will be a great addition to our family lunches at the park. 5 stars!

2002

Buffet Broccoli Casserole-
Rating-* * * * *
Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2002, page 6. This is so cheesy, and so yummy! If you only like broccoli when covered with cheese, this is the recipe for you! I never thought I would have this cheesy kind of sauce with broccoli and it be healthy! But, JoAnna has done it again! This will definitely go on a family favorite list! 5 stars!

Sour Cream Pecan Fudge-
Rating-* * *
Healthy Exchanges October 2002 Newsletter, page 9. This gets 3 stars. It looks like you only get a small amount but they are so rich I could barely finish my serving! If you like maple nut fudge, or any kind of vanilla fudge you will probably like it. I probably wouldn't spray my dish again with cooking spray. I think it would be ok to put down plastic wrap. It was a little greasy where the dish had cooking spray on it. I think it called for the cooking spray so that it wouldn't stick to the dish. I really don't think I would have had a problem with it sticking. But, I also used a Pyrex dish. A metal dish may of had more problems with sticking. I also didn't care for the texture much, it was grainy.

2003

Mexican Mocha Trifle-

Healthy Exchanges Food Newsletter, October 2003, page 11. This was good and ample portions. But, it wasn't my favorite. I give it 4 stars.
